Mirket Gateways Installation Requirements
To ensure a smooth and efficient installation of Mirket MFA, it is crucial to meet the following system and network requirements:
System Requirements:
Operating System: The server must be running one of the following Windows operating systems:
It works on all systems running Windows Server 2012 R2 and later. (8GB RAM , 4 CPU, 100GB disk)
It works on all systems running Windows 10 and later.(8GB RAM , 4 CPU, 100GB disk)
Network Connection Requirements:
For Mirket MFA Application Usage:
The server where Mirket is installed must be able to access admin.
mirketsecurity.comvia HTTPS service.If you are using SSL decryption in your firewall, make sure that Mirket's access to admin.mirketsecurity.com via https is excluded from SSL decryption.
For Radius Connections:
UDP ports 1812 and 1813 must be open on the Windows server for outward communication. No additional configuration is needed if the Windows firewall is disabled.
For Agent Connections (e.g., RDP or OWA Agent):
The Windows server must have outbound HTTPS service open. No additional configuration is required if the Windows firewall is disabled.
For Remote Management Interface Access:
If remote access to Mirket's management interface from a different IP address is required, the Windows server must have outbound HTTPS service open. No additional configuration is necessary if the Windows firewall is disabled.
Endpoint Security Requirements:
Ensure that Mirket Services is allowed.
Powershell is needed during installation process.
The directories created for the Mirket gateway under C:\ should be allowed and excluded from any security restrictions or scanning by the endpoint security software.
During the installation process, running specific commands requires CMD (Command Prompt) access. Therefore, the following conditions must be met:
CMD (Command Prompt) must be accessible on the Windows operating system.
CMD may need to be run with administrative privileges.
Additionally, to ensure successful email delivery, customers may need to allowlist Mirket’s email domain. Please make sure that emails from @mirketsecurity.com are permitted by the customer’s email gateway or filtering system.
