Mirket Version 4.0.6 Release Notes

Welcome to the release notes for Mirket version 4.0.6. This update brings several new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve your experience and security. We are committed to continually evolving our product to meet the needs of our users and protect against the latest cyber threats.

New Features

  • Case-Insensitive Username Recognition: We have introduced the ability for usernames to be recognized irrespective of case sensitivity. This enhancement aims to improve user experience by allowing flexibility in how usernames are entered during authentication.

  • Default Country Selection for Phone Numbers: A new feature has been added to automatically select the default country code when entering phone numbers, streamlining the process and reducing input errors.

  • New SMS Providers: To ensure robust and reliable SMS delivery, we have added three new SMS providers. This expansion allows for better performance and redundancy across our communications platform.

  • Authorization Profile Enhancement: A new authorization profile, FortigateGroupName, has been added, offering more tailored access control options for our users.

Enhancements

  • UI Menu Name Changes: The user interface has been updated with changes to menu names, making navigation more intuitive and aligning with user feedback.

  • Remote Desktop MFA Improvements: Enhancements have been made to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Remote Desktop services, improving security and user experience.

Resolved Issues

  • Removal of Unused Features: As part of our commitment to a streamlined and efficient user experience, unused features have been removed from the interface.

  • Mirket OTP Provider: We have resolved a synchronization issue within the Mirket OTP provider that previously resulted in increased wait times. This fix ensures a smoother and faster authentication process.
