Local Users
In cases where it is not desired to create users on LDAP systems such as Active Directory etc. for externally supported individuals, multi-factor authentication can be provided by creating local users on Mirket.
You can access this page from the Configuration > Users tab. In this list, you can view the Username, Display Name, Membership, and Token values of each local user.

You can review, edit, send verification, and set password emails, or delete the local user from the menu on the right side of the local user. Also, you can search and filter local users, update and export the user list on the Users page.
To edit a local user, click the Edit option from the menu on the right side of the user. This will redirect you to the Edit page. The Edit page has the following four main sections: Overview: Displays detailed information about the local user, but does not allow editing in this field.

User Info: You can edit the local user's Display Name, Username, SAM Value, and Phone Number values.

Member of Groups: You can add or remove local users from the group/groups.

Monitor: You can view a local user's RADIUS, Proxy, and OWA logs from the past hour.
On the Edit page, you can send verification, set password and TOTP emails, lock/unlock the local user, or delete the local user via the Actions button on the top-right corner.
Also, you can test the multifactor authentication method you prefer from the user menu on the Users page or with the Actions button on the Edit page:
SMS / Mirket OTP / Approve/Deny: These methods allow you to test multifactor authentication for the selected user. Note: Remember, this is just a test phase.
QR Code: A TOTP mail is sent to the user. The user clicks the link in the mail to access the QR code page. Scanning this QR code with Mirket Authenticator generates a code that changes every 30 seconds in the Mirket Mobile App.
To create a new local user, click the Add User button on the top right corner. The local user creation process consists of two steps. In the first step, fill in the fields according to the following instructions:

Display Name: Enter how the user's name will appear in the interface. Username: Enter the name that will be assigned to the user. Phone: Enter the user's phone number. Mail: Enter the user's email address. SAM Value: Enter the user's SAM value. In Mirket, user identification is done using the SAM (Security Account Manager) name. This is preferred over the standard username. This username is used for authentication and access controls.

After filling in the required fields, click the Next button to proceed to the final step. In the second step, select the local group/groups to which you want to add the user you are creating. Transfer your selections to the Selected Groups table by clicking the arrow icon next to the Available Groups table.
Once the addition process is completed, click the Save button. Then, the local user will be successfully created.
Created local users are listed in the Configuration > Users tab.

You can also select multiple users by checking the boxes next to their names. Then, you can send a verification email to all selected users at once by clicking the "Send Provision" button or delete them by clicking the "Delete Selected Users" option.
