Windows OS Logon Agent
The Mirket OS Logon setup file must be installed on the servers where multi-factor authentication in remote desktop and console connections is desired, and the necessary configuration settings must be defined within the agent.

You can download the OS Logon Agent by clicking the Manage button under Configuration > OS Logon in the Mirket Portal.
Note: The OS Logon agent supports the following operating systems: Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, and Windows 10, 11.
To begin the installation, first run the setup file you have downloaded.

Click the Next option.

Accept the License Agreement and click the Next option.

Enter your API key. You can find your API key on the Mirket Portal by going to Configuration > OS Logon and clicking the Manage button under the API key option. Then, click the Next option.

Configure the agent's features during installation. Descriptions of the features are provided below:
Use UPN username format for Mirket authentication: Permits using UPN usernames for RDP and console connections.
Display last logged in user: Allows displaying the information of the last logged in user.
Disable 2FA prompt for Mirket without2FA users: Provides an option to enable or disable 2FA for users who do not require it.
Timeout (in minutes) before asking 2FA again on unlock (0 means always ask): Specifies the duration, in minutes, after which 2FA will be prompted again while the user is in a Windows lock state.
Timeout (in seconds) for the CredentialProvider: Determines the validity period of 2FA in seconds.
After setting your features, click the Next option.

On this page, determine where 2FA should be required for Logon, Unlock, and CredUI (e.g., Run as Administrator). After specifying, click the Next option. Note: The Remote option refers to connections made via remote desktop, while the Local option refers to connections made via the console.

Click the Install option to start downloading the OS Logon Agent. Once the download is complete, the installation will be finished.
How To Remove Mirket OS Logon Agent?
Here are the steps to disable the RDP agent:
Run the OS Logon Agent Setup file you have downloaded.


Click the Next option. Then, select the Remove option.

Click the Remove option again. Then click the Finish option.
